Meet Kevin

Kevin, the Civic Leader

As one of your DuPage County Board Members – District 6. Kevin has been serving on the following Committees:

  • Technology Committee – Chair

  • Strategic Planning Committee – Vice Chair (former Chair)
  • Animal Care and Control Committee
  • Community Development Commission
  • Development Committee
  • Economic Development Committee
  • Environmental Committee
  • Finance Committee
Kevin Wiley, The Civic Leader

Kevin will continue to advocate for keeping your property tax levy flat. The DuPage County Board will do this by continuing to push for greater efficiency across the county and continue to collaborate with our other local governments to eliminate duplication wherever it is found. As the former Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee and current Chairman of the Technology Committee, Kevin believes there are still enormous opportunities to improve our service and efficiency by focusing on our People, Process, and Technology. Additionally, we must limit ourselves to that which we’ve been chartered to do. Nothing is more inefficient than doing something you weren’t obliged to do at all.

Kevin, the Family Man

My wife Laura and I have called District 6 our home for twenty-nine years.

Laura works at Edward Jones in West Chicago. She is active in the church and has been the organizer of and has supported several charity events which have helped build our community.

We are enthusiastic members of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Carol Stream, have proudly been a part of Carol Stream’s Boy Scout Troop 98, and are active members of Association of Wayne Center, a homeowners association for neighborhoods in unincorporated West Chicago.

Our three children Alexis, Christian and Benjamin graduated from Bartlett High School where they played sports, participated in band, and contributed to many student programs and clubs.
